The foreigners who have a permit to stay and work in Poland and who are in the process of changing their employer must remember that this involves the need to apply for a new residence and work permit related to a new employer. This is because these permits are issued in connection with work for a specific employer and on a specific job position. Foreigners must also remember that after each termination of employment one should inform the Province office which issued the residence permit decision about the termination of this employment within 15 business days from the occurrence of this circumstance. Failure to do so may result in refusal to issue a permit in the future.
