A work permit in Poland is issued for a specific employer and for a specific job position with this employer. This means that a foreigner can perform legal work only for a given employer who has obtained a permit, and any change in employment (e.g. change of employer, change of job title) requires obtaining a new work permit or other basis to continue performing legal work in the Republic of Poland. This is similar to the change of employer issue.
